About Eve

This is the development blog for a one-man game project, currently being developed under the working title ‘Eve’. I would have preferred that that be the final title, but that is not feasible. While I try to think of another title, I just call it Eve anyway.

What is Eve? Eve is a story about what happens after the world dies. It all takes place in an afterlife that is decayed and overgrown, a place where no one’s sure why they’re here or even who they are any more. A place where people’s forms start to shift with their nature, and the world around them changes to become what they imagine it to be. The same destructive impulses that left the last world in flames here are granted more concrete forms, and it’s a land full of mysteries and dangers.

Into this world falls a stranger. She isn’t like the others, she is an outsider. However, she was sent here for a purpose: To collect the lost souls who wander here, by force if necessary, and bring them back to the father of all things, so that this broken world might be fixed, once and for all.

This is her story.

  1. Hey there, just wanted to let you know that we over at Continue Games are big fans of what you’re working on, and we’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award. Thanks for doing what you do, friend!

Check out the post here, if you’d like! http://continuegames.com/2013/09/18/we-won-an-award/

    • I appreciate the thought, though these community awards aren’t much my scene — I don’t even follow 9 blogs, much less have 9 favorites.
I’m really glad you’re enjoying the blog though: I created it primarily as a motivational tool, so it’s awesome to hear that other readers are getting something out of it.
