March 10th: I can see tiles and tiles and tiles

Ooookay. Updated the template, updated all the collision data to match the new template, tested out the template. I think the way I’m going with this tileset has potential but I decided that the way I’m handling light and dark areas needs some changes: I roughed those changes in, but in the process had to delete a lot of the detail. So it goes. What I’m doing now isn’t just the art, but establishing the rules of the art, the style of the game, and how it communicates to the player: It’s important to get it right now, because if I have to change it later it will be exponentially more work.
