September 21st: A Little Breather

Added a bunch of frames to the idle animation to give this character some life. It’s actually weirdly hard to make an animation look smooth when the movement is this subtle: I had to be very careful not to move more than a pixel or two at a time or it looked like a very jerky movement. When I think about it, this kind of animation really isn’t very common… most animation is all about BIG EXAGGERATED MOVEMENTS, it’s very strange doing something like this, especially prototyping it in silhouette, especially for such a small character at such a long distance. Even at just 10 frames a second, it looks a little too fast to my eye.
