July 1st: Hoppity

Okay got it building, working on debugging the different states now. Basic patrolling seems to work fine, there’s some issues with the pursuit state. I just realized that the problem I’ve been having with jumping is actually one I’ve had a bunch of times before so I can fix that one right away tomorrow, and then I’ll see how it moves with that part working. Basically I need to unstick the character from the ground, since the collision detection makes it move along the ground to handle a bunch of situations with running up and down hills. I always forget about this when it comes time to make an entity jump. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it eventually.
