February 20th: Reversion

I ended up deleting most of the ground tracking code I did yesterday and going with an older version, which I guess kind of sucks, but it pretty much works now. All that’s left to do is figure out one bug, which makes the character move erratically down steep hills, and then add some tweaks to make steep hills actually feel steep — not quite sure how to approach that yet, may even be a different behavior altogether, though probably not. The challenge there is just figuring out how I want it to behave, the actual implementation should be pretty easy. That done, I should be able to finally, FINALLY, move on. Hopefully. Jeez.
