Okay, so APPARENTLY due to the way Haxe works the system as I’ve implemented it doesn’t work. So now I need to figure out how to redo it in what will PROBABLY be a less incredibly elegant manner in order to have my code actually run, which will probably take a while to implement, so this overhaul STILL isn’t complete. Ugh. I expected errors, but I wanted them to just be behaviors not working correctly, not the entire premise of my refactor being flawed. Dammit.
WHATEVER. If I absolutely have to, I can probably fix this just by making all behaviors dynamic. It’s an ugly solution but it’s a solution.
