October 4th: Node

I went to an itty bitty indie game convention today. Things I learned: If you’re going to show a game in a crowded space, make sure you get a big screen and something to set it on so it’s nice and high up and visible. Get some kind of targeted sound system so the person playing can hear what’s going on better than anyone else — separate speakers are better than laptop/tv speakers for this. Have some kind of trailer good to go so people have something to get into even when the game’s not actively being demoed.

Also, make sure your game is ready to be shown. Some of them weren’t.

I finished up the nodes for the facet editor. Now I just need to make the editor itself, which is mostly just a container for those nodes with a few controls.
