July 28th: Basics

Okay, I have most of the important UI elements for the basic editor banged out now. I haven’t implemented this yet, more because I’m not sure how I want to tie everything together with the advanced editor yet than because it will take much work. It should be pretty easy to get those sliders working for one test detail, but making them work in a consistent way over different details and properly switching between basic and advanced mode maybe less so. Anyway, here’s what it looks like now:

That’s really just about all that needs to be there for the basic detail controls, except I also need to add something to change images/animations for the drawn detail. I might do that next, but more likely I’ll focus on getting the advanced sliders working and the swapping back and forth between basic and advanced controls first.
