I’ve resolved all of the major issues with the collision system, but there are all these finicky little issues that still bother me. The thing is, even if it’s just one frame, if the character reads as being on a slope for one frame and then off the slope for the next it makes the animations flicker in a really horrendous fashion. Actually, at this point it’s more about just making the collision detection play nice with the animation system than anything else… but it still requires the system be internally consistent in a lot of ways, and sometimes even though it’s just animation it requires me to take a closer look at why it’s not working right, which reveals deeper problems. So, um, it’s kind of both.
